There were many gluten-free companies at the show this year. Our usual favorites were there: Bob’s Red Mill, Pamela’s, Mary’s Gone Crackers, Orgran and so on. But there were several you might not know about. My favorites were the cheese crackers from KitchenTableBakers.com; Nueske’s (www.Nueskes.com) had terrific gluten-free meats; Flamous has falafel chips (bean-based) that are very flavorful (www.flamousbrands.com). GoPicnic.com packages several ready-to-eat items together in a themed box, making them perfect for travel or quick meals away from home (perhaps at your desk at work). Of course, this is a FANCY food show so there are lots of exotic foods, including cheese, olive oil, olives, chocolate, bread, vinegar, and so on. It is truly a foodie’s delight and really a lot of fun, as well.
